The government has decided that the public administration will not have a bonus for the end-of-year holidays.
In the decision taken today at the meeting of the Council of Ministers, it is stated that the employees of the State Police, the employees of the Independent Qualification Commission, the Public Commissioner and the Special Appellate Panel are excluded from this decision.
“The amount of remuneration does not exceed the level of a monthly salary” – it is stated in the DCM.

ABOUT
AMENDMENT TO DECISION NO.929, DATED 17.11.2010, OF THE COUNCIL OF MINISTERS, “ON THE ESTABLISHMENT AND USE OF THE SPECIAL FUND”, AMENDED
Pursuant to Article 100 of the Constitution, Article 4, Law no. 10405, dated 23.4.2011, “On the competencies for determining salaries and bonuses”, and Article 12, of Law no. 137/20120, “On 2021 budget ”, amended, on the proposal of the Minister of Finance and Economy, the Council of Ministers
VENDOSI:
1. Point 9, of decision no. 929, dated 17.11.2010, of the Council of Ministers, as amended, is amended, as follows:
“9. Exceptionally for 2021, the special fund of general government units is not used for socio-cultural activities and remuneration of employees.
This definition does not apply to employees of the State Police, employees of the Independent Qualification Commission, the Public Commissioner and the Special Appellate Panel. The amount of remuneration does not exceed the level of a monthly salary. The financial effects for the remuneration of the above-mentioned employees are borne by the fund for staff salaries, for the institutions mentioned in this point, approved in the budget of 2021. ”.
2. The Ministry of Finance and Economy and the institutions mentioned in point 1 of this decision are in charge of the implementation of this decision.
This decision enters into force immediately and is published in the “Official Gazette”.
