Despite the intensity of diplomatic moves to de-escalate the fragile situation and the brink of war between Russia and Ukraine, military developments on both sides are taking place in parallel.
From Kiev, Top Channel envoy Muhamed Veliu reported in the 15:00 news edition that according to the Center for Defense Strategies of Ukraine, there are three scenarios of how Russia could invade Ukraine.
First scenario: Russia is occupying eastern Ukraine as far as the Dnipro River and potentially occupying Kiev and Odessa, including western Ukraine.
The second scenario: Russia launches an attack through warships and ground bases.
Third scenario: Russia carries out a limited occupation of the entire Donbas area, that part that is partially controlled by Ukrainians such as Dontesk and Luhansk, causing extensive damage to the Ukrainian army in the east of the country.
question: Ukraine seems determined to face any situation or not, even though the size of its army is many times smaller than that of Russia?
Top Channel journalist Muhamet Veliu said that the National Guard, together with civil emergency forces and other units, are conducting a massive exercise in the town of Prypyat known as the shadow town in the former Chernobyl area, 150 kilometers north of Kiev. According to him, the Ukrainian army has removed from the depots the old communication technology, as Russia has the capabilities of a large-scale cyber attack on its communication systems.
