Education experts say that due to the pandemic, in the near future, we will have an increase in the number of functional illiterates, who are people who can read and write, but are not able to understand and analyze.
“Our administration and institutions have many functional illiterates, who instead of understanding and solving our problems, get confused in them and do not give the results you expect. The problem lies with the school. We are seeing more and more students acting mechanically, not having a critical thought, idea, or attitude. Our education experts say that due to the pandemic, there is a decrease in the quality and level of education, to 30-40%. This should be an alarm. We will feel the consequences very soon. A national strategy is needed, to stop it from being in the school benches, that work is going on in the university, there is not much left to do“, Said Agim Baçi.
