The Court of First Instance in Shkodra has released from prison the suspected perpetrator of the murder of former MP Pashko Ujka, citizen Kristjan Kelmendi and his suspected accomplice citizen Marjan Kola.
The court changed the security measure from “prison arrest” to “house arrest” for these two citizens.
The court has administered a new piece of evidence, namely a video through which it is alleged that the suspected perpetrator of the murder of the former MP and the suspected accomplice on the day of the event were in Kosovo.
After this video that was taken as evidence, the court decided to release them, easing the measure from “prison arrest” to “house arrest”.
In addition to this video, the Court of First Instance in Shkodra is awaiting some other evidence of these two citizens that may be videos again but also various purchase invoices or other evidence that may prove that the two suspects were in Kosovo on the day when former MP Pashko Ujka was killed.
At the hearing on the security measure on December 4, the suspected perpetrator Kristjan Kelmendi and another citizen Marjan Kola denied before the court the authorship of the murder, saying that they were in Kosovo. One month was left for the administration of evidence.
