The police operation codenamed “Adriatic” is finalized, to crack down on criminal activity in the field of narcotics.
Operation by the Narcotics Investigation Section and Operational Force in DVP Lezha, in cooperation with the services of the Kurbin Police Commissariat.
During the operation, 2 citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto and another 1 was declared wanted.
31 kilograms of cannabis sativa, 2 vehicles, 2 mobile phones and vehicle license plates were seized as material evidence.
Following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of production and sale of narcotics, based on information received on the operational road that some citizens were transporting narcotics from Kruja to Fushë Mamurras, was organized and finalized the police operation codenamed “Adriatic”, in the framework of which the citizens were arrested:
- M., 33 years old, resident in Fushë Mamurras, previously convicted for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”, and DL, 44 years old, resident in Kruja.
Also, the wanted citizen SK, 24 years old, resident in Kruja, was declared wanted.
These citizens were caught red-handed during the operation, in the yard of the apartment of the citizen RM, who was going to buy the narcotics that had been transported from Kruja, citizens DL and SK. The latter was able to leave at the moment of the Police intervention.
From the first investigative actions it has resulted that the citizen RM would sell the narcotics in doses, in the region of Lezha.
Under the direction of the Prosecution, work continues to identify and apprehend other persons involved in this criminal activity.
The materials were referred to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Kurbin Judicial District, for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics”, committed in collaboration.
