Anastasiya Dobrovolskaya is a portrait photographer who shows people and animals in a very sensitive way.
As she says, “I try to show the external and internal beauty of people and animals, as well as emphasize their uniqueness, depth and individuality. I dream that any person who has an unusual appearance will believe in his beauty”.

Anastasiya’s passion for photography dates back to her childhood. Her great-grandfather was a photographer and passed the love of photography on to the younger generations, reaching out to her and her sister. Anastasiya has been photographing since she was a child, only “to continue with her family”. At the time, she had no plans to make photography her profession.
On her 20th birthday, Anastasiya’s parents bought her a camera, which she used to photograph everything around her. A few years later, he bought a camera himself. “I wanted to sit for hours on a flower bed in the park, waiting for a beautiful butterfly to sit on a flower”.
Anastasiya, being the daughter of two doctors, always believed that human activity should bring some benefits. However, she could not pursue the same profession. She decided to try out portrait photography as she struggled with depression and her anxiety disorder.
“I realized that a picture is not just a beautiful picture with a beautiful girl in a dress. You can actually put meaning into your work“. After discovering Diana, a girl with vitiligo, she began to imagine with which animal it would be best to photograph her. Before that, she learned about a girl who rescued a spotted fox from a fur factory. And these 2 events marked the beginning of her project “Different Beauty”.
