On February 3, the presidency submitted a 140-page file questioning the legitimacy of the Assembly that fired Ilir Meta, while the socialist majority was accused of political revenge.
The submissions of Ilir Meta’s lawyers did not convince the constitutional judges who addressed a number of questions to the head of state.
The process that is taking place against Ilir Meta in the Constitutional Court is showing that the links of the judiciary do not differ much from each other, as three meetings were not enough to close the trial against the head of state.
