We as a society lack information on hunting. According to hunters, due to the lack of this information, a very big mistake is made because hunting is confused with braconage by calling both categories hunters.
But the world divides them into hunters and hunters. The poacher is the opposite of the hunter and this group of illegal hunters are the biggest enemy of the hunters.
Poachers are the ones who steal prey. They hunt with illegal methods and tools which endanger the continuity of the species. They are the ones who shoot the protected species of fauna. They are the ones who hunt outside the time limits because hunting takes place less than six months a year. The rest is breeding season, systematization and hunting is not allowed during this period.
As a result of this illegal activity, in 2016 the organization Bird Life international ranks Albania in the 10 countries with the worst records in terms of bird killing mainly. The study data of that year of the international organization show about 2655 individuals killed every year in our country.
