Kastriot Chipi: The first massacre that we have done as a nation is the constitutional amendment of 2008, the changes to the constitution have become unjust, but the biggest massacre was done in 2008 with the breakdown of the electoral system.
For this reason, I expect Berisha to understand one thing, that he does not come to power without promising to change the system. He cannot do some things without being in a position, he must open a dialogue with the civil society and arrive at the drafts, at the written projects. It should mean that I promise as a politician if you give me the vote, I will make this law the first day that I am in power. He has not started this debate yet, if he doesn’t, I will be against Berisha.
Could today’s protest have an effect on Rama?
Kastriot Chip: Governments are not overthrown by protests, neither here nor anywhere else. Since 2008, a government cannot be overthrown by protests, because the parties are military formations and the presidents are generals. Neither a protest with a million people in the square, nor three consecutive months of protest will bring Rama down, he will not resign. But what needs to be done today is to start the dialogue about the system so that we don’t have another Ram tomorrow. The protest cannot be focused only on the criticism of the facts.
Rama said in October we are expecting a terrible winter due to the lack of energy. I have not heard any articulation from the opposition on how it will solve this problem. I want the opposition to come up with alternative plans.
