Astrit Patozi defines the invitation that Sali Berisha made shortly before midnight to return to the Democratic Party with an expression from Shkodra: “my mother took me by the mouth”.
This is how the former leader of the Democratic Bindja party considers Berisha’s invitation, made at midnight, at the same time when he was removed from the right five years ago.
In an interview for “Top Talk”, Patozi says that “the problem of the DP today is whether or not the former politicians who have left will return”.
The politician adds that the Democratic Party is out of his vision and has no interest in rejoining it.
“I do not need the PD either, but neither do I need the PD, it is out of my vision for nine years. “And I have been very coherent in the things I have said for the past nine years and today we are talking.”.
Patozi criticizes the policy pursued by Sali Berisha, who last night stressed again that he will be a candidate in the elections for the chairman of the Democratic Party, which, as he said, can be held on May 21 or 22.
“I do not believe in this political vision, I do not believe in the infallibility of the leader, in the worship of the leader, in the consideration of the opponent / difference as an enemy. I do not believe that those who make serious mistakes or lead the party on the wrong course, loss after loss, they are the solution, they can lead it to power. There are many reasons that my political vision does not align with the Foltore. But I believe that the Foltore herself, does not add value if I or someone else returns there, even as a sheep obedient, lowering his head and apologizing.
Today Foltorja needs blind loyalists, blindly obedient militants, who when given the command attack, attack. It does not matter if the same person says two different things about the same thing. The pulpit today does not need thinking people, who put reason ahead. I apparently have these vices “.
However, Patozi says he respects the invitation, despite refusing it.
“I respected that I might not even answer: they pretend to invite and we pretend not to listen. “More to respect the public, as I have a kind of obligation to the public.”
The DP is today at the peak of a deep crisis, from which it should be separated an hour ago, he said.
