Highly wanted as a drug trafficker, this is Samet Durmus who, taking advantage of the war in Ukraine, tried to use Albania as a transit by introducing himself as a Ukrainian. Under the false identity of Rizvan Farkadinov, Durmus insisted that he was leaving for his family in Stuttgart when there was in fact an international arrest warrant against him.
“I am Ukrainian and I was born in Kiev and I am traveling to Germany”, was the phrase of the Turkish trafficker introduced as Farkadinov and before the court. But he was betrayed by the papillary traces.
The court assessed the request of the Germans who confirm that the Turkish trafficker Durmus is in the hands of the Albanians, who was involved in the trafficking of a quantity of marijuana from Barcelona to Frankfurt. The drugs according to the investigation were packed in detergent boxes and brought through trucks, while it would be distributed among the customers. Durmus allegedly used enchro chat to communicate with his associates about the sale of the narcotics.
During the closed-door hearing, the prosecution tested the accused if he was able to speak the phrase in his mother tongue. But he was justified in having left for Germany at a young age and knew no expression.
The Germans tell the Albanian justice for the Turk that his extradition was decided that he was born in their state and is not Ukrainian.
