On the fourth day of the fire in Mount Chika, one hearth continues to be active.
Although two Canadar planes have dropped water to extinguish the flames yesterday, the fire has not yet been extinguished.
Planes have flown over the mountain of Chika four times until yesterday evening, but one source of fire has not yet been extinguished, namely the fire over the village of Palase.
According to the civil emergency headquarters near the prefecture of Vlora, the planes will continue their work today to extinguish the flames, while the FA soldiers have left the field because the throwing of water from the planes is a danger for them, as the water collides with the rock heated by the temperatures of the fire create cracks (explosion).
Meanwhile, in the southern part of the mountain of Çika, about 80 ha of forest with firs and bushes were burned in a line 500 m from the area above Palase village near the top of the mountain.
