Two people have died and 1,793 others have tested positive for the coronavirus, the Ministry of Health of Kosovo announced.
According to the daily report, positive cases emerged after testing 4,513 samples or 39.72 percent of the samples came out positive for the COVID-19 disease.
Radio Free Europe writes that the number of new cases represents an increase compared to the previous day, when 842 infections with coronavirus were registered.
In the previous 24 hours, 174 citizens have recovered, while there are currently 8,035 active cases of coronavirus.
As for vaccination, the health authorities have administered 263 doses of the vaccine against the coronavirus.
In total, so far in Kosovo, 903,764 people have been immunized with a dose of the vaccine. 824,036 citizens were immunized with two doses, and 104,132 citizens with three doses.
Recently, Kosovo has started giving the fourth dose of the vaccine to people over 60 years old and according to the data, so far 852 citizens have been immunized with the fourth dose.
