The head of the regional administration Dmytro Zhyvytsky said that three evacuation corridors are scheduled to open in the northeastern region of Ukraine Sumy on Thursday.
On his official Telegram channel, he added that the proposed evacuation routes were set in advance to start at 9 a.m. local time (02:00 ET) on Thursday, with civilians heading to Poltava, about 160 kilometers (100 km). miles) away in central Ukraine.
