President of Ukraine Volodymir Zelenskyy, will award the Peace Prize to all international companies that managed to sever ties with Russian markets.
This announcement was made by the presidential office yesterday, where it is written that the companies that left deserve the respect of Ukrainians and people around the world.
The head of the presidential office, Andriy Yermak, said that in the end indifference and silence are complicity and that their goal is that no penny should go into the pocket of the aggressor. He also called on all companies cooperating with Russian markets to stop imports and exports.
“It is impossible to support war crimes, it is unacceptable to trade with war criminals and make money killing civilians,” he said.
Since the invasion, many international corporations have ceased operations within Russia in a variety of industries, including energy, transportation, finance, and technology. In a speech to the French parliament last week, Zelensky called on some business giants in France to leave the Russian market and “stop being sponsors of the Russian war machine.”
