Ukraine’s envoy to the UN, Sergiy Kyslytsya, condemned Russia and its activities as an “aggressor state” in Ukraine over the innocent people.
Speaking at the UN on Friday at a UN Security Council meeting, Kyslytsya called Russia’s claims about biological weapons “lies” and described its harsh actions against Ukraine as war crimes and crimes against humanity.
“What will be the next objective?” One more residential building? Another maternity ward? “Russian troops have already hit all these places,” he said.
Further, Kyslytsya also stressed the fact that for the first time since World War II, people are being buried in mass graves in Ukrainian cities.
“Russia’s indiscriminate airstrikes and shelling have almost destroyed Mariupol and killed 1,582 civilians, according to the local administration. “For the first time since World War II, people are being buried in mass graves in Ukrainian cities.”
Mariupol is the southern coastal city of Ukraine, which has been under almost constant attack by Russian forces since the start of the Russian occupation on February 24.
