The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) has been updating those fleeing Ukraine since the start of the war.
So far more than 5.6 million have been sheltered in neighboring countries, while in a report published by the International Organization for Migration (IOM), at least 7.7 million people are internally displaced in Ukraine.
The number of fugitives has risen, as Russia continues its attacks on Ukraine. Humanitarian evacuation corridors that have not functioned due to the attacks remain problematic.
