The Utopia IV yacht struck from behind the Tropic Breeze tanker in the Bahamas on December 25, in the collision that took place off the coast of the island of ‘New Providence’ around 10 o’clock in the evening.
“The catastrophic force of the shock tore the back of the tanker causing it to fall to the bottom of the ocean, at an estimated depth of 700 meters,” tanker owner Tropic Breeze told the network. Caribbean National Weekly.
