The Mayor of Tirana, Erion Veliaj today invited the representatives of businesses in Tirana, with a focus on supporting and empowering young people, to become part of the activities of the European Youth Capital.
During a meeting with them, Veliaj said that this is a historic chance for all of us to come together, this year, to promote Tirana.
Veliaj: If we function as an ecosystem – we met with representatives of the police, airlines, travel companies and all those who provide services in hotels and inns, with representatives of bars and restaurants – we have a historic chance for our city. Schools, senators, rectors and deans will be added to this ecosystem to create a fantastic opportunity for all. “Yesterday we were talking to Rita Ora and Dua Lipa, to get a date for their concerts, while on March 14 in Tirana comes Maluma and many services will operate digitally,” said among others Veliaj.
