Satellite images of areas hit by military attacks in Ukraine show the extent of the damage in the first days of the occupation.
The footage was captured on February 28 by Maxar Technologies. Since then, dense clouds have prevented most satellites from observing the situation.
The images show burnt houses in the village of Rivnopillya in the Chernhiv region, approximately 80 kilometers (about 50 miles) north of the capital, Kiev.
In Chernihiv, a bridge over the Stryzhen River appears to have been destroyed, while residential buildings and a nearby factory appear to have been damaged. A Russian military convoy was also spotted on a nearby road.
