Vlora has undertaken a new initiative as it has organized for the first time the Vlora Marathon race where over 200 competitors participated.
This is an event that was organized thanks to the initiative of the multi-sports club Flamurtari with the idea that this competition becomes an annual tradition.
The Vlora Marathon was attended by competitors from all over the country who covered 10 km from the main boulevard of the city to Cold Water and back. for the mayor Dritan Leli and the Director of the Flamurtari Club Klevis Kaso this event was important but the goal is to have more competitors in the future
At the end of the Vlora marathon were given the prizes for the winners of this event that is expected to take place every year in the coastal city
