An Albanian teacher living in Poland told today in “Goca and Women” how the citizens who left Ukraine were received, after Russia declared war on them.
There is tension and panic in each of us, says Juela Skarra.
“We have people who are directly affected by the war. I have many friends, many colleagues, who have half the family in Ukraine”.
According to her, hundreds of citizens living in Poland have been mobilized on the border with Ukraine, to help Ukrainian women and children.
“There is currently a train that Poland has provided for free, an identification device, even a medical certificate, proving that you are a Ukrainian citizen is enough.
There are a very large number of volunteers who have shown solidarity, many people who have opened their doors to welcome them. At the points where I worked, the children were greeted with bears or other toys to ease the pain“, Says Juela.
