A woman who says she started training after her husband mocked her body is now proud of her 15-year-old boyfriend.
42-year-old Wendy Levra now calls herself a ‘puma’ as she insists she is not old enough to be called a ‘cougar’, referring to the American mountain leopard.
She is already a professional ‘bodybuilder’ and personal trainer with impressive shapes that even a man would envy.
Wendy from Nevada, USA, reveals that she started working with weights at the age of 35 even though her ex-husband made fun of her initiative and called it impossible.
She quit her job at an insurance company and is already a personal trainer. After the divorce from her husband, she has found her new boyfriend, 27-year-old O’Flattery, with whom she has been dating for two years.
“At first we were friends, but a few years later I could barely pay the rent and we decided to live together,” says Wendy.
“We connected quickly, we liked the same things as going out with friends or traveling.”
“I like to call myself a cougar, not a cougar, I’m not old enough to be a cougar yet, and Sean gets along very well with my kids.”
Wendy gave birth to her first son when she was 17 and for that she had to leave school. Her youngest son is now 16 years old and accompanies him to training competitions.
“The eldest son is 25 years old and gets along very well with Sean,” says Wendy.
“The first time they met my son said he believed Sean would be a fool as he is a bodybuilder.
“But they are good friends, age is not a problem.”
Wendy faces numerous reactions on social media regarding her bodybuilder physique.
“Friends and family motivate me to train but someone says ‘I want to train but I do not want to be like you’.”
“While others on social media make comments like ‘you are disgusting’ or tell me I look like a man with a woman’s breasts.”
“But I do not allow these to affect my life, ‘bodybuilding’ lifestyle has given me so much.”
“Bodybuilding has given me confidence in myself, I used to be shy, I would not talk to people if no one spoke to me before,” she says.
