Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskiy met with US President Joe Biden to discuss security, financial support for Ukraine and the continuation of sanctions against Russia.
“As part of the ongoing dialogue, I had another conversation with the President“, Wrote Zelenskiy on Twitter.
In a statement, the White House said President Biden had assured that the United States, along with its allies and partners, would increase costs for Russia following its aggression in Ukraine.
Biden also said his administration is stepping up security, humanitarian and economic assistance to Ukraine and is working closely with Congress to secure additional funding.
