Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky said Sunday that he spoke with IMF Managing Director Kristalina Georgieva about Ukraine’s financial stability and post-war reconstruction.
“I spoke with IMF Managing Director Georgieva about ensuring Ukraine’s financial stability and preparations for post-war reconstruction. For now we have clear plans and perspectives. I am confident that cooperation between the IMF and Ukraine will continue to be fruitful“, Wrote Zelensky on Twitter.
Earlier, Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal announced that he would attend meetings of the International Monetary Fund and the World Bank in Washington next week, where he would seek additional financial assistance to Ukraine.
