Luis Suarez continues to be without a team after the end of his contract with the Spaniards Atletico Madrid.
The Uruguayan striker is in no rush to decide on the future.
The desire of “El Pistolero” is not to leave European football. Several Italian clubs have shown interest in the 35-year-old, whose name is also being discussed as Haller’s replacement at Borussia Dortmund.
River Plate tried to take him to Argentina, while there is concrete interest from Nacional, the team where Suarez started his career and was active before moving to Europe.
The 48-time champions of Uruguay are trying to bring the famous goal scorer back home. In recent days, the president of the club, Jose Fuentes, has asked the fans for help to convince the player to return to Nacional.
The fans didn’t waste time and in the challenge won 5-0 against Cerrito they performed an act of love towards the player. 20,000 fans were seen with Suarez masks, as at a certain moment they stood up singing choruses for the bomber.
Meanwhile, even the players of Nacional celebrated the goals and the victory with the mask of “El Pistolero”, joining the call of the president to do something nice about Suarez’s persuasion to return home./ Super Sport
