The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others. AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
Any citizen over 12 years of age can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
MSHMS appeals to all citizens vaccinated with two doses, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 666 tests were performed, out of which were positive with COVID19, 33 citizens, in the following municipalities:
11 in Tirana, 5 in Kuçova, 3 in Vau i Dejës, 2 in Durrës, Vlora, 1 in Kamëz, Kavaja, Fier, Patos, Delvinë, Saranda, Libohovë, Tepelena, Elbasan, Belsh.
There are 358 active COVID-19 patients nationwide.
Currently 8 patients are receiving treatment in COVID3 hospital. In the last 24 hours there has been a loss of life with Sars-Cov2; a 78-year-old citizen from Tirana passed away.
42 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 270,608 since the beginning of the epidemic.
