33 Ukrainian soldiers taken hostage by Russia have been exchanged today with some Russians.
Ukrainian Deputy Prime Minister Iryna Vereshchuk said in a post on social media that in addition to soldiers at home, 12 hostages have returned home.
She reported that five of the bodies exchanged were wounded, while giving no information on the number of Russians who had been given in exchange.
“We are also bringing home 12 civilians.” said Mrs. Vereshchuk.
