A 50-year-old man identified with the initials N.Xh has fallen into the hands of the Tirana police for illegal possession of weapons.
Based on the information received on the operational road that he was carrying a firearm in the apartment, the blue forces organized the police operation codenamed “Lake”, and arrested the 50-year-old resident of “Hamdi Cenoimeri” street.
He is charged with the criminal offenses “Illegal possession and production of weapons, explosives and ammunition” and “Illegal production and possession of hunting and sporting weapons.”
Also, in the framework of this operation, his son, A. Xh., 16 years old, was prosecuted.
During the control exercised in the apartment of the citizen N. Xh, the Police services have found and seized as material evidence a Kalashnikov firearm, a pistol firearm, a sport rifle and a quantity of ammunition.
The materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office of the Tirana Judicial District, for further procedural actions.
