Prime Minister Edi Rama spoke at the ceremony of donating the reconstructed houses in Laç with the financing of the Turkish government.
Also present was President Erdogan, whom he said reminded of the word brotherhood.
Edi Rama: Here we are today, here is the materialization of all beautiful words. Here you can see what it means when Erdogan says “I have Albania in my heart and what hurts Albania, hurts me too”. Mustafa Kemal Ataturk instilled in the spirit of modern Turkey the spirit that humanity is a single body and every nation is part of that body.
He said we can never say what matters is that a part of this body is not sick as long as we are sick. If a part of this body is sick, we should worry as if we are sick. This spirit, President Erdogan has deeply rooted in the spirit of Turkey, in Turkey’s approach, in the way Turkey views the world and its friends.
The meaning he gives by deeds not only by words, the word brotherhood is the embodiment of what the Prophet Muhammad says, peace and blessings be upon him. None of you believes unless he desires for his brother the same as he desires for himself.
