A human skeleton, suspected to be that of an Italian soldier of the Second World War, has been found in Ardenica, Lushnja.
Agim Hoxha was the person who while working in the yard of his house, at a depth of 10 cm managed to discover the skeleton. He immediately called the village headman and then the police.
Even his wife, Dhurata Hoxha says that this is the first case that human bones have been found. It requires an area study to be done.
The mayor of the village, Myzafer Hoxha, suspects that the remains may be of an Italian soldier left killed during the Second World War.
He says a military hospital has been built on these hills. Even ceramic vessels have been discovered in this area before, but no study has ever been done.
The bones were found by the police, who sent them to the forensic laboratory to find out who they belong to.
