The Scotland-Ukraine football match, which is valid for the World Cup qualifiers, will be played tonight.
According to the BBC, Scottish fans will be invited to sing the Ukrainian national anthem in Glasgow’s “Hampden Park” in support of their opponents in the World Cup play-offs.
They will distribute leaflets containing a version of the song and will then be asked to sing together in solidarity.
This is the first competitive Ukrainian football match since the Russian occupation in late February which was to be played in March this year, but due to the war it was postponed to a second moment.
The winners of this match will face Wales in Cardiff on Sunday for a place in the “Qatar 2022 World Cup”.
