Journalist Dorjana Bezat has provided exclusively the images of the security camera, which has recorded the movements of the perpetrators, located about 100 meters from the chancellor’s apartment, where the event took place. By looking at the images of this camera, but also of others in the area, the police were able to identify one of the suspects and declare him wanted. It is about 24 year old Usama Gashi from Elbasan.
Police suspect that the violence against the chancellor is related to his work in the court of this city. The 24-year-old wanted man is related to a person with a strong precedent in Elbasan and it is suspected that he ordered the attack on the chancellor as the latter did not inform him about a court case.
