“We have some issues that we ask to be addressed by the resolution. Based on a disturbing statement by the Prosecutor General regarding money laundering and the lack of investigations by the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana, we request that in the draft resolution ILD be suggested to carry out a thematic inspection in the Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana as pertains to the investigation of criminal offenses starting from the first, starting from the statement of the general prosecutor that certain prosecutors, in violation of the law, refuse to fulfill their duties. We request that a suggestion be included that the ILD be required to process filed complaints that, due to the 5 year statute of limitations, avoid filing without being subject to verification and investigation by the ILD. To add a point that the cases of conflict of interest that are created by the governing bodies of justice by the Supreme Court, the KLP with judges and prosecutors from different levels of the judicial system are dealt with, these were our suggestions“, said Bardhi.
