The ‘political battle’ has started this Saturday! On the one hand, the leader of the Democrats, Lulzim Basha, gathers today the delegates of the National Assembly, while on the other hand, the former Prime Minister Sali Berisha holds a referendum to ratify Basha’s dismissal.
Meanwhile, the voting process has started in all branches of the DP in the districts. Voting will last until 17:00 and 75 thousand Democrats have the right to vote.
With the new logo and stamp, the ballot gives the Democrats two options, to confirm or not by referendum the departure of the leader of the Democrats.
An election commission headed by Albana Vokshi, with members Ervin Minarolli, Eno Bozdon, Edit Harxhi and Keltis Kruja, has been set up to lead the referendum. This referendum is held to ratify the decision taken by the Assembly convened by Berisha on December 11.
Former Prime Minister Berisha is expected to visit branch number 2 in Tirana, at 10:00.
