Just 2 days before the March 6 elections, the head of the CEC, Ilirjan Celibashi spoke about the electronic voting process in Vora, saying that the process will be tested this afternoon. As for anyone who commits violations by getting involved in vote buying or influencing citizens, Celibashi said that they will face the justice authorities.
Celibashi: We will take all measures so that we do not have problems in the administration of the electoral process. For the electronic voting process in Vora, today at 14:00, the CEC will test the process. I want to reconfirm that not only based on the experience of such elections in CEAZ no. 40 in Tirana, it is entirely a process that guarantees security and there is no reason or pretext to question this process. I invite the citizens of Vora to take part in the voting. The call comes for voters of all other municipalities to take part in the voting.
For some phenomena that have been considered criminal in other elections, anyone who will be involved in the process of vote buying or the influence of citizens, will have consequences and I do not like to bring it to attention even by my nature, but a large number of those cases and persons identified by the CEC are being dealt with by the judiciary. Understand for everyone that it is not threatening but if someone has the courage to face the judiciary, he can do it too. All those who identify such violations, report them to the criminal prosecution bodies.
