The Ministry of Health appeals to citizens to be vaccinated as soon as possible, to protect themselves and the health of others.
Any citizen over the age of 16 can be vaccinated at the health center or at the nearest centralized vaccination point.
Vaccination is also open for children +12 years old with immune system problems, with a doctor’s recommendation.
MSHMS appeals to citizens who have passed 6 months from the second dose of vaccine, to go to health centers or centralized vaccination points, to be vaccinated with the third booster dose.
AntiCOVID vaccines reduce the chance of infection and greatly avoid hospitalizations and fatalities.
The Ministry of Health reminds the citizens that the observance of anti-covid protocols is a necessity for the protection of health.
Mask placement is mandatory in any enclosed environment. Avoid crowds and ventilate your premises to limit the spread of Covid-19.
If you suspect that you are affected by COVID19 or have signs of the disease, isolate yourself immediately and contact your family doctor to be tested as soon as possible or call the National Emergency on the unique number 127.
We inform you about the situation in the last 24 hours, as follows: 3667 tests were performed, of which were positive with COVID19, 789 citizens, in the following municipalities:
465 in Tirana, out of 32 citizens in Durrës, Lushnje, 30 in Gjirokastër, 22 in Vlora, 20 in Saranda, 19 in Kruja, 13 in Lezha, 12 in Elbasan, out of 10 citizens in Korça, Kavaja, 9 in Vora, 8 in Devoll, from 7 citizens in Tepelena, Mallakastër, Fier, Kurbin, from 6 citizens in Tropojë, Delvinë, Peqin, from 5 citizens in Gramsh, Kolonjë, Pogradec, from 4 citizens in Kukës, Mirditë, Berat, from 3 citizens in Dimal, Përmet, Patos, Kamëz, Shijak, Has, by 2 citizens in Fushë Arrëz, Dibër, Këlcyrë, Memaliaj, Skrapar, Poliçan, by 1 citizen in Konispol, Roskovec, Puka, Shkodër.
There are 24,081 active COVID19 patients nationwide.
Currently 129 patients are receiving treatment in COVID hospitals, of which 13 are in more serious condition. In the last 24 hours, despite the efforts of the medical staff, there are seven lives lost with SARS-COV2 positive: five citizens from Tirana aged 59-83, one citizen from Fier 78 years old, one citizen from Kamza 79 years old.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection expressed its condolences to the families.
1824 citizens have been cured in the last 24 hours, bringing the number of cured to 222,508 since the beginning of the epidemic.
