The decomposed body found in Erseka two days ago is suspected to belong to a 29-year-old ari 5ari who was killed with a firearm.
The corpse of a male was found decomposed in a place called “Hau i Kreshovës”, on the mountain Gramoz in Kolonjë.
Following the investigative and procedural actions carried out by the investigative group set up to uncover this event and identify the victim, from the examination of the skeleton, a perforating hole was found in the skull, which is suspected to have been caused by a firearm.
From the control exercised at the scene, no cartridge or firearm shell was found. As material evidence, a sweatshirt with a mobile phone inside was found and seized.
From the data so far, it is suspected that the body belongs to the citizen Sh. M., 29 years old, resident in the village of Starje, Kolonjë, who has been removed from the apartment since the report made by his father, on 10.11.2021, at the Kolonjë Police Station.
After the first investigative actions, the bone remains will be sent to the morgue of the Institute of Forensic Medicine in Tirana, where they will undergo relevant examinations.
According to the police, the materials were passed to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Korça Court of First Instance, for further action, for the criminal offense “Premeditated Murder”.
