The Deputy Assistant Secretary of State for International Narcotics and Law Enforcement Affairs, Lisa Johnson, during a meeting today with the Chairperson of the Supreme Judicial Council, Naureda Llagami, discussed the reform in justice and the integrity and effectiveness of the judiciary.
Johnson expressed that he supports the development of the new judicial map, which he says will improve the performance of the courts and the ability to provide justice to Albanian citizens in a timely manner.

They discussed judicial reform and the key role the Council plays in ensuring the integrity and effectiveness of a reformed judiciary. The council worked hard to fill vacancies in the Supreme Court, which is nearing completion.
