Lulzim Dibra, a resident of the city of Shkodra for 26 years, is treated with a disability pension in the amount of 105 thousand old lek.
In October 2021, Lulzim’s pension was cut off, as according to him the Social Service Office Shkodër notified him that he must appear before the KMCAP Tirana. Lulzimi says that he has not been called at any time by any institution since October 2021.
Lulzimi shows that he tries to live on the economic assistance for persons with disabilities that his wife receives as a person with mental health problems, but the amount she receives is not enough to enable living for 4 people in the family, as she also has medications own.
Fiks Fare journalists addressed the Shkodra Social Service Office, where the latter said that Lulzim Dibra’s economic assistance as a person with disabilities has been cut off since 12/31/2021. In November 2021, the economic aid office sent the documentation to the Shkodra Social Service, from where, due to the anti-Covid measures, Lulzim was visited online and apparently one of the doctors did not agree and decided that his file to go to Upper Camp in the city of Tirana.
Although the file has been completed since 20-10-2021 at the Tirana State Social Service, there has still not been an answer for Lulzim.
After the interest of the editors of Fiks Fare near KMCAP Tirana, this institution said that Lulzim’s file is scheduled for commission during the month of July. But the date of the commission has not been decided yet, at the time of the commission, Lulzimi will be notified through the unit where he lives.
The reason for not calling him for so many months, according to them, was the situation and the anti-Covid measures. But Lulzimi, to receive economic assistance as a person with disabilities, has to wait another month to receive all the money at once.
