In the Dnipro a care center has undertaken to house these forgotten war victims. An 85-year-old woman says that she left just so as not to burden her son.
“My son was my eyes, my hands, my feet. I have nothing of my own. When I woke up in the morning he took care of me. “Seeing the situation, I thought and decided to leave. I decided to leave to save my son,” said the elderly woman.
While another elderly woman displaced from the city of Kramatorsk, says she wants to return to her home one day.

The center also houses people with disabilities and women raped by Russian soldiers.
