Exports of goods through the country’s largest port in May reached 138,259 tons or 41% more compared to the same period a year earlier.
According to data from the statistics sector at the Durrës Port Authority, the performance of exports in the first 5 months of the year has been positive, increasing by 135,693 tons of goods or 27% more processed goods than January-May 2021.
In total during the first 5 months of this year 645,598 tons of goods were exported.
The main weight of goods that have dictated the increase of exports from this port is mainly held by chromium, scrap, sulfur and goods transported by containers.
