The police operation codenamed “Horizon” for the capture of wanted persons is successfully finalized.
3 citizens declared nationally wanted for the criminal offenses “Production and sale of narcotics”, “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Credit fraud” are caught and handcuffed by the Police.
Following the work to apprehend the wanted persons, the staff of the Fier and Lushnjë Police Commissariat, in cooperation with the Narcotics Investigation Section in DVP Fier, based on the information received through the police, after locating the location, organized work and successfully finalized the police operation codenamed “Horizon”, as a result of which the arrest and detention of citizens took place:
1. PS, 53 years old, resident in Hoxharë, Fier.
The detention of this citizen was made after the Court of First Instance Fier, with the decision of 17.12.2021, has imposed the security measure “Prison arrest” for the criminal offense “Production and sale of narcotics” committed in collaboration.
This citizen was declared wanted during the police operation codenamed “Hoxhara”, conducted on 16.10.2021, where in his apartment, the Police found and seized 10 kg of narcotic cannabis sativa. The citizen SP, in cooperation with the citizen IH (B), (arrested by the police during the operation), had prepared the narcotics ready for sale.
2. EH, 41 years old, resident in Hamil, Fier, after the Court of Appeal of Vlora has imposed the security measure “Prison arrest” for the criminal offense “Cultivation of narcotic plants”.
3. RK, 23 years old, resident in Lushnja, after the Court of First Instance Elbasan, with the decision dated 02.02.2022 has assigned for this citizen the security measure “Prison arrest” for the criminal offense “Credit fraud”.
This citizen, in cooperation with 2 other citizens (who were arrested by the Police) posing as employees of a foundation that creates facilities to obtain loans, have deceived the citizen RB, 65 years old, resident in Elbasan, asking for a amount of money.
The 23-year-old was handed over to the Elbasan Police services for further action.
The materials will be forwarded to the Prosecution, for further procedural actions.
