Specialists of the Crime Investigation Section at the Police Commissariat no. 6, following the work to identify and crack down on illegal activity in the field of gambling, have identified a case of exercising this activity, through sports lotteries.
At the end of the investigation, the citizen was arrested in flagrante delicto:
– DB, 35 years old, for the criminal offenses “Organization of illegal lotteries” and “Concealment of income”.
During the controls exercised by the Police services, this citizen was caught red-handed exercising the illegal activity of gambling, through sports lotteries, in a bar, in the street “Enriko Telini”.
As material evidence, a mobile phone suspected of being used for gambling activity was seized.
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Court of First Instance in Tirana, for further procedural actions, for the criminal offenses “Organization of illegal lotteries” and “Concealment of income”.
