“From the experience I have in my office, I know many people who buy many times, many properties but not in their name. If the amnesty were to take place, for a moment there would be few individuals who own half of Tirana, which would be very shocking for the country. There may be no more than 100 people who own half of Tirana. They are important people, mostly related to corruption or drugs“.
According to her, a lot of “dirty” money circulates in our country. “Unfortunately, it is known that most of the income in Albania comes from crime, drugs, corruption and companies that partially declare their profit.
If we had a law on fiscal paradise, where everyone declares all their income and property, where they are not prosecuted but pay the state 20%, so a kind of fiscal amnesty would bring a lot of money into circulation, business would to have more money.
I think it would be very shocking what would come out of this fiscal amnesty“.
