The Chairman of the Parliamentary Group of the Socialist Party Taulant Balla received today in a meeting with the Ambassador of Great Britain to Albania, Alastair King-Smith.
Through a post on the social network Facebook Balla states that the increase of inter-parliamentary cooperation between the Albanian Parliament and the British Parliament was one of the points of discussion, where expert assistance in drafting legislation or in the process of consultation with civil society and stakeholders remains a important priority.
Balla also briefed the British Ambassador on the readiness of the Socialist Party parliamentary group to co-operate with the opposition on important reforms such as the continuation of justice reform or electoral reform, which should be drafted in line with the recommendations of OSCE / ODIHR reports. .
