The Prosecutor’s Office of Tirana has officially started the investigations regarding the simultaneous attack on government services that subsequently caused difficulties for Albanian citizens.
Journalist Anila Hoxha told Top Channel that investigations have started for 4 criminal offenses, specifically: Illegal interception of computer data, interference with computer data, interference with the computer system and misuse of the computer system.
The investigations, as officially stated by the capital’s prosecutor’s office, are led by the chief prosecutor of Tirana Arens Cela and also by the prosecutor Bledar Valikaj, but part of the investigation that is considered very important for the justice authorities, are also a team of Unit C in the State Police, as the help of law enforcement agencies has also been requested.
Journalist Hoxha added that as it is said in unofficial ways, the investigations are being directed towards the possibility of a cyber attack to destabilize the country. This doubt was told to Top Channel, during several communications that the journalist Anila Hoxha had with the leaders of this case that has been being examined urgently by all the members of the investigative group for several hours.
It is also reported that the help of international agencies has been requested, where the sequestration has been set for 4 accounts that are suspected to have been used by cyber hackers. The sources told Anila Hoxha that the seized accounts are considered as accounts used by hackers and it turns out that they attacked government services in Albania simultaneously and in an organized manner.
Meanwhile, there are doubts that these attacks come from outside Albania, from another country, but without specifying which country is this, which is not friendly to Albania.
