The Basic Court in Ferizaj has sentenced today to 18 years in prison the Kosovar citizen MP, for the criminal offenses of aggravated murder and unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons.
The President of the Trial Panel of the Serious Crimes Department, Mustafë Tahiri, after holding the main trial, hearing the parties, administering all the evidence, found the defendant MP guilty of aggravated murder, and sentenced him to 17 years in prison. while for the other offense the unauthorized possession, control or possession of weapons for two years. Pursuant to Article 80 of the CCRK, the court sentenced the accused to 18 years in prison.
The defendant on 31.08.2018, in Ferizaj, intentionally and cunningly, killed AK, with whom she was in a love affair. After the murder, she fled to Germany, where after verifying her whereabouts, she was arrested by the German authorities and on 18.12.2019 she was extradited to Kosovo.
Against this judgment, the parties have the right to appeal to the Court of Appeals in Prishtina, through the Basic Court of Ferizaj.
