About 12 million euros is the value of everything that is currently seized or confiscated by law enforcement agencies in Kosovo.
The vast majority of them are under seizure, as they are suspected of having benefited illegally.
The exact value is not yet known, but officials of these assets, say they are under evaluation.
Some of the movable property is stored on the outskirts of Prishtina. These vehicles seized by the state are either used to commit a criminal offense or are a benefit from the criminal offense, and their value currently amounts to 2,377,000.00 euros.
Inside the warehouse there are several rooms in which there are motor vehicles, which were also owned by the citizens of Kosovo.
In another room are the seized televisions and casino machines, which the Kosovo Police took from the gambling premises, when they were stopped in Kosovo.
Another space is filled with computers, which were once in the premises where the call center businesses were located, before an extensive operation of the Kosovo Police and the German authorities took place in them.
But, something even more interesting is found in these rooms, it is about drug laboratories that in Kosovo, have recently been discovered and destroyed by the Police to a large extent.
Some who have been caught in recent operations are still not here.
And according to the Agency that administers this warehouse, the value of these assets located in this warehouse is about 85.000.00 euros.
However, this is not the only place where these assets are amassed.
“Those that have a slightly higher value such as gold, silver, before them we keep in the CBK”, said Enver Krasniqi, Deputy Director of AAPSK.
In the Central Bank of Kosovo from these assets are kept money in the amount of 4,972,179.36 euros, while valuables in the amount of 1,300,000.00 €.
In addition to these, there are a number of laptops, iPad phones that are stored in a narrow space in the office of the Agency, within the Ministry of Justice.
This agency also manages the most valuable assets, which are real estate.
Deputy director, Enver Krasniqi says that there was no occasion for them to be put up for sale.
“We also have real estate which includes apartments, houses, lands, various plots, we also had a case of a hotel in business. “Some of them have been confiscated and are already registered as state property, while some others are in the phase of sequestration and the decision of the Court is awaited”, said Enver Krasniqi for Dukagjini ..
The value of real estate that the state owns as currently confiscated is about 3,000,000.00 euros./Express
