Meghan Markle and British Prince Harry gave a long show of public kisses yesterday, as she congratulated her husband on winning a polo competition.
The 40-year-old duchess wore a large black fishnet hat accompanied by a black and white suit as she watched the 37-year-old man’s “horse golf” match against which he played on Team Los Padres.
They beat rivals Klentner Ranch to win the Lisle Nixon Memorial Cup with a score of 14 to 10 at the polo club in Santa Barbara, California yesterday.
Meghan held the trophy to give to the winners, before kissing each of them on both cheeks.
She then extended for a longer kiss with her husband, whom she also wiped off her lipstick, in front of curious spectators who saw her.
Prince Harry has recently joined the Los Padres Polo Club squad, which is managed by his friend.
Adhering to the name ‘Harry Wales’, the prince scored three times during the match – which was open to the public but tickets sold out shortly after departure.
Last week the couple celebrated the fourth anniversary of their marriage.
Yesterday’s meeting did not look much like the kiss on the cheek that the late Princess Diana gave Prince Charles after a victory in polo in 1985, exactly after four years of marriage, writes the British Metro.
Harry and Meghan – who are the parents of three-year-old Archie, and Lilibet who turns one next month – seemed relaxed at the event.
They had not taken their children to the polo match.
